How Gratitude Attracts Abundance
Living from a place of abundance is a beautiful thing. Did you know that gratitude is the foundation for all abundance? Keep reading to find out how gratitude attracts abundance.
Here’s what you’ll learn from this article:
How to attract abundance with gratitude.
Our #1 go-to gratitude practice.
A personal story of synchronicity.
Let’s get to it!
We receive what we give
In this post, we talked about how gratitude is the foundation for sustainable, lasting joy.
Gratitude rewires the brain, enhances physical health, and fosters strong interpersonal relationships.
In this way, gratitude is an integral part of holistic wellness.
Perhaps even more interesting though is the fact that when we exhibit genuine gratitude for people and things outside ourselves, we draw genuine gratitude inward to ourselves.
Like attracts like.
The world mirrors back to us the energy we offer to it. And so when we exude immense gratitude for all that is, we receive immense gratitude for all that we are.
We draw in what we put out through our vibrational frequency.
And so when we operate at the frequency of gratitude, our consciousness elevates to that level, and we then see and receive gratitude in abundance.
THANK THE UNIVERSE
If you want to cultivate more gratitude in your life but aren’t ready or willing to commit to daily gratitude journaling (we feel you), start with this one simple practice:
Thank the Universe.
The Universe rewards appreciation. The more you thank, the more you’ll have to be thankful for.
Remember last month when we talked about the signs the Universe sends to let us know we’re on the right path to manifestation?
These signs are often experienced as moments of serendipity or happy coincidence. Spiritual teachers often refer to these aligned coincidences as synchronicities.
Label how you will.
The heart of our message is to EMBRACE and APPRECIATE these “signs” or nudges fully and generously.
Perhaps there are numbers (e.g., 11:11, 222, 333, etc.) that consistently appear when you’re feeling aligned and on the right path.
Maybe it’s a certain word that lets you know.
Maybe it’s the sight of a butterfly.
Maybe you run into the right person at the right time.
Maybe an old friend calls you out of the blue and mentions something affirming.
Signs come in all shapes and sizes. And when they arrive, the best thing we can do is pause and give thanks.
MAKE IT REAL
Ashley’s Example
“Several months ago, I was feeling anxious and overwhelmed while out running errands. I was behind on work, chores and to-do’s were piling up, and there just didn’t seem to be enough hours in the day.
As I (sped)walked into Target, I opened her shopping list in the Notes app on my phone and found an unexpected addition to the end of it…
After the final item on my list, was a random “B🥒,” which I immediately interpreted as a friendly reminder from the Universe to “be cool like a cucumber”. 😂
In that moment, I paused, smiled, and silently thanked the Universe for the cheeky reminder to keep my cool.
Once I returned to her car (after a relaxing shopping experience), I closed her eyes, put my hand over my heart, and took several grateful breaths.
To me, this sign was a small but meaningful reminder that the Universe was there to offer support if I was open to receiving it. And that despite my ego’s incessant catastrophizing, there was no benefit to rushing or worrying.
This was just the reminder I needed. We don’t have to wait for the BIG stuff to be thankful.
There’s immense beauty and magnificence to be had in the “little” stuff when we open our hearts to it.”
INTENTION
I am grateful for and receptive to the small signs the Universe sends.
DO THIS TODAY
Be on the lookout for small “signs”. If and when you see them, pause, close your eyes, put your hand over your heart, and generously offer thanks.
WRITING PROMPT
Write down the small signs the Universe sends you this week and how it feels to receive them.
