THE POWER OF A FEARLESS PERSONA
Last week, we talked about the importance of releasing the (egoic) you from your most important work.
Specifically, we shared how beneficial it can be to get your ego out of the way so that the real you—your higher-self—can open the channel to co-creative brilliance.
Let’s assume for a moment that you’ve been able to do this. That you’ve been able to successfully disentangle your identity (ego) from your most important work…
Since there’s no longer any (egoic) you filtering into your work and its outcomes, you’re now able to embody the magnetic essence of the real you.
The real you is naturally bold, fearless, and brave because she has nothing to lose.
Many performance artists have described the experience of becoming someone else the second they step foot on stage.
These are the artists who would typically describe themselves as “shy observers,” and yet they boldly become a magnetic beacon of light the moment the mic is switched on.
It’s our belief that in these moments, the ego falls away and the divinity of the higher self radiates through the body.
The individual then opens so fully, so completely to the energetic vibration of her higher self that she appears to have taken on a new persona.
The ego is released, if only for a song or two, to make way for the true self as well as a pure stream of co-creative intelligence.
It’s through this (nearly) ego-less persona that the fully manifested version of the artist’s outer purpose can unfold.
The energy created by this uninhibited, fearless form of co-creation manifests in such an authentically powerful way that it magnetically draws in observers.
Do you know the type of artist to which we’re referring? We’re not necessarily talking big names. In fact, all too often big names become big egos (on stage and off).

When the outcome of your creativity elicits chills in others, you’ve most certainly hit the high-note on divine, co-creative intelligence.
CREATING FOR THE SAKE OF CREATING
During fearless co-creation, the artist creates merely for the sake of creating. Because holding it in would mean shrinking and withering.
She doesn’t create in hopes of receiving praise. She creates because there’s something important that needs to come out.
She creates because some divine force beyond explanation urges her forward.
LESS EGOIC YOU = MORE MAGIC
All this to say that the less (egoic) you that exists in your consciousness, the more effortlessly, fearlessly, and chill-inducingly your gifts will flow into the world.
When there’s no you to lose, there’s no-thing to lose within your work.
And when there’s no-thing to lose, there’s nothing stopping co-creative energy from flowing through you.
Someone who is both energetically aligned and working from a fearless, egoless state is truly unstoppable.
Action taken from this state is what Eckhart Tolle refers to as the Enthusiasm modality of Awakened Doing, which we covered in this blog post.

We like to think of ‘Awakened Doing’ as ‘Powerful Doing’ because awakened doing carries with it the force of Universal intelligence… and there’s no stopping that.
So how do we enact a state of Powerful Doing?
Excellent question.
POWERFUL DOING COMES FROM POWERFUL BEING
“Most people’s lives are run by desire and fear. Desire is the need to add something to yourself in order to be yourself more fully. All fear is the fear of losing something and thereby becoming diminished and being less. These two movements obscure the fact the Being cannot be given or taken away. Being in its fullness is already within you, Now.” — Eckhart Tolle
And just like that, our multi-month exploration on outer purpose ties back to a topic we explored several months ago: Inner Purpose.
It also illuminates the belief that we hold most near and dear to our hearts:
We must first be before we do.
Because the power of your doing will only ever be as strong, as magnetic, and as wave-making as the power of your being.
Your ability to do (or co-create) fearlessly depends on your ability to first fully align your consciousness with the Present moment.
If you struggle to be Present, no matter how hard you work, the outcomes of your doing will never reach their most potent potential.
This doesn’t mean that the fruits of your labor won’t be honored or revered, only that their energetic impact will be diluted by the undercurrent of fear from which they were manifested.
This is because true fearlessness can only be accessed through the Present moment.
On the contrary, fearfulness exists only outside the Present moment, where the mind’s projections into past and future create fear-based suffering.
Tapping fully into the stream of fearless co-creative intelligence requires us to be present, aligned, and energetically available to receive.
It also requires us to be as separated as possible from ego identity.
Do you see what we’re getting at here?
The truest form of Presence and the most powerful form of co-creation (aka fearless co-creation) exist when there is no egoic you (or very little).
But what does this ‘no-you’’ state look like?
This is a state in which your physical being is so opened up to your energetic essence (your higher self) that the “I” you’ve entangled with ego identities—I am this or I am that—ceases to exist and your truest consciousness reveals itself; the consciousness that says only, “I am.”
Interestingly, it’s the simplicity of this pure consciousness that reveals the most profound meaning.
In our lifelong search for something more, for something meaningful, we tend to overlook the most obvious hiding place: Within.
When we first go within, we arm ourselves with the co-creative alignment to create fearlessly without.

And so to do fearlessly, we must first make space to be. It’s from being that our most magical, powerful, and game-changing gifts will eventually be made manifest.
